ACBC WA and CCCA (Perth Branch) Ping Pong Friendship Games

The Australia China Business Council Western Australia (ACBC WA) and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Australia (CCCA) Perth Branch invite you to the 7th Annual Ping Pong Friendship Games on Friday 2 December 2022.

Enjoy some friendly competition and immerse yourself in this fun-filled cultural experience. This event provides a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow members, family and friends. All skill levels welcome!

We are looking for teams of three or four, but you can also register as an individual player and be put into a team.

Competition

DATE: Friday 2 December 2022

TIME: From 10am

FORMAT:

• 10am-3.30pm – Competition
• 3.30pm – Exhibition Match between Western Australian Premier Hon. Mark McGowan MLA and Consul. General Long Dingbin.
• A light lunch will be served during a short break in the competition.

LOCATION: Top Spins Table Tennis Club – 19 Golding St, West Perth WA 6005

REGISTRATIONS CLOSE: Wednesday 30 November so that all teams can be finalised and competition schedule confirmed.

COMPETITION AND PLAYER DETAILS:

• Each team may only have one team member above 1,000 points under the TTA central rating, or equivalent to a B grade player or above. If any teams cannot fill a B grade player, our club will endeavour to find them a player.
• The B grade or above player may only play in one of the three events in the team competition.
• The team competition will be in the form of one doubles game (which will be played first), followed by two singles games.
• All matches will be played in the form of best of three. The team which has won two out of the three events will be the winning team.
