The 2024 Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion Conference will be held in Melbourne on November 7th, 2024, with the theme “Openness and Innovation for a Shared Future.
This conference is sponsored by the People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality and organised by the Investment Promotion Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality. Its goal is to showcase Shenzhen’s significant achievements and breakthroughs while accelerating the establishment of a new development paradigm and promoting high-quality growth. Shenzhen aims to strengthen its role as the core engine of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and to position itself as a premier global investment destination.
The city seeks to create a vital platform for international investment cooperation. The conference will highlight Shenzhen’s prioritised development areas, including the “20 + 8” industrial clusters and the modern service industry. It will also showcase the city’s industrial planning and investment achievements, aiming to establish a comprehensive and high-level investment cooperation platform that spans all sectors. This will further enhance Shenzhen’s appeal as a top choice for global investment and share development opportunities with the world.
Key components of the conference will include an exhibition of investment promotion results, speeches by senior officials, keynote addresses from guest speakers, reports from authoritative institutions, and a signing ceremony for significant projects.
