ACBC QLD | Insights from QLD’s Trade and Investment Mission to China & End of Year Networking

About the event

Over 100 industry representatives participated in Queensland’s largest trade mission to China in November 2023, to showcase Queensland exporters to the China and the world. Delegates from the education and training, food and agriculture and tourism sectors participated in a program including in Shanghai and Beijing. Over 73 delegates represented 28 Queensland companies at the Queensland Pavilion at one of the world’s largest trade shows – the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. Products included premium beef, seafood, horticulture, wine and beverages, processed food and health and wellness products.

The mission was held against the backdrop of continued improvements in bilateral relations, and on the heels of the Australian Prime Minister’s successful visit to China.
