On August 8 2023, ACBC was proud to host a delegation with guests hailing from Qingyuan, Guangdong, China.
The delegation discussed key areas that connect Australia and Qingyuan. These areas included foreign affairs, commerce, and agriculture, which were considered crucial for exploration. The discussions revealed the complex relationship between the two, highlighting their involvement in diplomacy, trade, and agricultural partnerships.
President of the Qingyuan Public Diplomacy Association, Liang Zhiqiang, opened the ACBC event on a note of gratitude, acknowledging the organisation for providing a platform that fostered meaningful engagement between participants.
Liang Zhiqiang’s presentation highlighted Qingyuan’s significant contributions to Australia, including the introduction of distinctive products and goods. Liang Zhiqiang’s presentation covered a range of products, including Qingyuan’s globally recognized black tea, Qingyuan chicken, delicious bamboo items, high-quality rice options, and red tea.
These offerings not only showcased Qingyuan’s cultural and culinary diversity but also exemplified its commitment to sharing excellence with Australia. The event reinforced the connection between the nations, promoting a spirit of cooperation and recognition for Qingyuan’s notable contributions.
Further emphasising Qingyuan’s significance, the event emphasised Qingyuan’s proximity to the expansive big bay area, positioning it strategically for growth and development. Currently boasting ten veterinary institutions and a population of 120,000, Qingyuan has emerged as a vibrant hub of opportunities.
A heartfelt invitation was extended to explore Qingyuan, not only for business ventures but also for leisure.
The event’s success was celebrated for its role in forging stronger connections between nations, laying the foundation for collaborative endeavours.
