On Thursday 7 March, ACBC Victoria had a memorable International Women’s Day (IWD) celebration with a High Tea at the Langham Hotel along the scenic Yarra River in Melbourne.
We welcomed Madame Zeng, wife of the new Consul-General to Victoria, to her first ACBC event; had the pleasure of having our Deputy Lord Mayor, Nicholas Reece, launch the Vida Goldstein statue public funding project; marked the appointment of our new Deputy Commissioner to Greater China, Lucy Du; thanked and fare-welled Jason Fitts and met Yoshiko Tanaka who will be taking on his role of Senior Regional Manager of Greater China.
Then our engaging speakers, Yashian Schauble, Caterina Nesci and Nikki Palun took us on their journeys to success and impressed us with their tenacity, vision and significant achievements against some incredible odds. A very uplifting day!
Sincere thanks to our sponsor and gift donor Celina Ping Yu, PhD GAICD CPA and generous door prize donors including Nikki, Caterina and Celina and Nina Davis from Kelly and Windsor, and our President Rhys Roberts for his support. Another successful ACBC Vic event that exceeded our expectations. If you’re not a member and would like to join please see in comments below.
