To increase the interactivity and engagement of Canberra Networking Day, The Australia-China Business Council is seeking your input to help shape the future of the Australia-China economic relationship. Your contributions will be included as part of the speaker briefing sessions, a list of potential questions for panel moderators, and to ensure your voice is heard by the political, government, and industry leaders to increase awareness and help identify potential policy directions.
The key areas for consultation and feedback include:
  • Enhancing Australia’s skills and productivity, including our China capability
  • How do we balance sovereignty and security with Chinese capital as we transition to a net zero economy? What would an Australia-China Green Economy agreement look like?
  • How do we better engage, support and profile Australia’s Chinese business diaspora and emerging leaders
  • What do you want to discover or hear from Australian business leaders operating on the ground in China?
  • What economic roles could / should Australia and China have in Southeast Asia – what does collaboration mean?
ACBC members and stakeholders can participate by providing short written responses to specific or all key areas (800 words max in total)
Please note that all opinions expressed during this process will be clearly identified as individual not of the ACBC or its sponsors, members or stakeholders. ACBC also reserves the right to share, or withhold written submissions.
