Australian Financial Review: Morrison gets Chinese burn over virus probe row

ACBC National CEO Helen Sawczak has commented on the recent tensions in Australia China relations in the Australian Financial Review.

Ms Sawczak said the latest stoush in what has been three years of strained ties between the two countries was “unhelpful” at a time of economic turmoil and made for an unpleasant business environment.

“We used to make these kind of comments behind closed doors and call it diplomacy. I don’t like this tit for tat in a public environment,” she said.
