Director & Co-founder of China Now
Sean is the Director & Co-founder of China Now. A seasoned investor, Sean has invested in and is advising 4 start-ups. Formerly, as the Managing Director of Moon Lake Investments, Sean spearheaded one of the most complex Chinese acquisitions of Australia’s largest dairy farm, Van Diemen’s Land farms for $280 million. Sean successfully launched the new dairy brand and products into the Chinese market using innovative market entry strategies, backed by omnichannel marketing, online/offline distribution channels and cold chain logistics to enable the products to be sold on the shelves of 200 high end supermarkets, taking the weekly export sale volume from 0 to 30,000 units within 12 months from launch. Previous roles include Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed Kresta Holdings & Vice President of the Australia China Business Council (Tasmania). 30 Under 30 National Winner, Sean volunteers with Vinnies Australia and is a Fellow of Australian Institute of Management. Sean holds a B. Commerce from Curtin University, MBA from University of Western Australia and is a graduate of the INSEAD Corporate Development and M&A Strategy Executive Education Programme in France.
