Transforming Brisbane’s CBD: Queen’s Wharf Brisbane

07 Aug 2020

Expected to open in 2022, the $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane integrated resort development is delivered by Destination Brisbane Consortium – a joint venture led by The Star Entertainment Group and Hong Kong-based partners Chow Tai Fook Enterprises and Far East Consortium – and will see Brisbane’s CBD transformed with four new luxury hotels, more than 50 new bars and restaurants, the equivalent of 12 football fields of public space, a panoramic Sky Deck positioned more than 100m above ground, revitalised heritage buildings, high-end and new retail offerings, entertainment facilities including a ballroom and moonlight cinema, a new pedestrian bridge connecting to South Bank, 2000 residential apartments, and a new world-class casino to replace the existing Treasury casino.

The ACBC QLD Tourism and Property & Construction Industry Working Groups invite members and friends to join a tour of the state-of-the-art Queen’s Wharf Brisbane Visitor Centre and its luxurious display suite, led by Graham Witherspoon, Destination Brisbane Consortium’s Stakeholder & Communications Manager, who will provide an overview of this transformational development, including construction updates, and the consortium’s communications and stakeholder engagement strategy.

Please note; The Queen’s Wharf Brisbane Visitors Centre and display suite adhere to the Queensland Government’s COVID Safe guidelines, including providing hand sanitiser, and regular cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces.

Please note that this event is strictly limited to 30 guests. Don’t delay, register today!

Registration will close at 12pm on Friday, August 14th but please be mindful that tickets will likely sell out prior.

Please note that this event may be postponed in the event of increased COVID-19 Government restrictions.
