Improving Your Export Opportunities | ACBC Vic & Global Victoria

03 Mar 2022

The Australia China Business Council Victoria (ACBC Vic) is excited to partner with the Victorian Government’s Global Victoria Trade Alliance to offer an extensive program for the revival of Victorian Business.

Through a series of targeted digital workshops exploring export opportunities with China, ACBC Vic aims to empower Victorian exporters to take full advantage of Australia’s largest trading partner, build cross-border networks and drive Victoria’s global economy.

China’s consumer market is changing at a break-neck pace. Technological advancements are changing how you talk to and engage with Chinese consumers.

Businesses must learn how to navigate and capitalise on these advancements. In this virtual workshop, you will gain the keys to success for the world’s largest consumer market.

Diverse industry leaders will provide you with the know-how to analyse data, trends and improve your export opportunities.

  • Data pioneer Christopher Kong (One Step Ahead) will identify the key barriers that companies face to achieving consumer-centricity in China. He will then share how leading companies can overcome these barriers through data-driven approaches.
  • Isabel Zhang (Bastion Insights) has two decades of cross-cultural research and business cultural consulting experience working with the Asian/Chinese diaspora across APAC. She will address the importance of using these networks to expand your business.
  • A Chinese native, Eric Yu (United Media Solutions) knows how overwhelming navigating the Chinese digital maze can be. Using company research, he will outline what an effective China digital strategy looks like.
  • Shanghai-based Ryan Molloy (Redfern Digital) is an expert in China Digital Marketing & E-commerce platforms on the rise. He will provide practical advice surrounding budgeting and how to adjust after each campaign.

Hosted by Victoria-China business leaders Nick Henderson (Deputy Commissioner to Greater China) and Virginia Birrell (ACBC Vic), this online workshop will include an interactive panel discussion with Q&A. Book your spot today!
