Global Freight and Logistics Update: By sea & by air: Challenges & opportunities through the COVID-19 pandemic

03 Mar 2022

Join us for an update from government and industry experts in freight and logistics hosted by the ACBC WA Food & Agriculture Committee.

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the global freight and logistics system, placing intense pressure on supply chains across multiple industries. Along with recent natural disasters, the pandemic has exposed the weaknesses of the system resulting in higher freight costs, sea container and workforce shortages, disruptions in passenger flights and empty supermarket shelves.

WA rejoins the rest of Australia and the world with the opening of our border on 3 March 2022. Chaired by ACBC WA Food & Agriculture Committee Chair I-Lyn Loo, this webinar examines the challenges and opportunities presented by this “new normal” in air and sea freight and logistics.

Participants have the opportunity to send in questions before the webinar. Please send these to eventswa@acbc.com.au by COB 16 March 2022.

The webinar link will be sent to attendees closer to the time.
