Free Online Business Chinese & Culture Workshop in partnership with The Victoria Business Confucius Institute (VBCI) at Victoria University

The Australia China Business Council Victoria (ACBC Vic) is excited to partner with Victoria Business Confucius Institute (VBCI) at Victoria University to offer a free Business Chinese and Culture Workshop to all ACBC members.

In the workshop, Mandarin teachers from VBCI will guide you through three Chinese business language and culture topics, including:

  1. Giving Gifts in China
  2. Etiquette and Discussing Business at the Dinner Table
  3. The Biggest Online Shopping Festival in China – 11.11

The workshop will provide participants with an excellent opportunity to learn 10 Chinese phrases which could be frequently used for communicating with Chinese business partners.

The Victoria Business Confucius Institute (VBCI) is a collaboration between Victoria University (VU) in Melbourne and the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE)in Beijing.

VBCI offers Chinese-language, business and cultural workshops, and tours. We work with business, government, industry, educational and community partners to foster cultural understanding between Australian and Chinese people.
