The ACBC QLD Health & Aged Care Industry Working Group cordially invites members and friends to join our guest speakers as we discuss current opportunities and collaborations between the Australian and Chinese biopharma markets, genomics technology advancements and future prospects for areas including public and precision health.
We will be joined by Bicheng Yang, Director of BGI Australia who have been a key driver in the fight against COVID-19, having recently collaborated with the Minderoo Foundation to provide 10 million COVID-19 testing kits and associated equipment to Australian labs, whilst also installing 11 new testing facilities across the country. We will also be joined by Chris Davis, the General Manager of the Institute for Glycomics, from Queensland’s own Griffith University. The Institute and its members, including several professors from Chinese universities and colleges, primarily focuses on translating its drug, vaccine and diagnostic discoveries into social and economic benefit, locally and globally.
