01 Aug 2022

Doing business in overseas markets can be both challenging and rewarding. Whether you are currently buying from or selling to China or looking at China as an investment destination, understanding the risks and the available financing options is paramount for success.

Speaking at the event will be Mark Todd, Managing Director (Fixed Interest), alongside Paul De Angelis, Executive Director & Head of Business Development, both from the Bank of China.

The specific points of discussion will be:

  • The importance of bilateral trade & capital flows between Australia and China
  • Key things to consider when exporting or importing
  • What financing and working capital solutions are available
  • The importance of Australian bank funding and its impacts to the cost of funding in trade, business borrowing and mortgages
  • Foreign exchange markets and capital flows to and from Asia, and the importance of destination education
