Rob Molhoek

MP
Elected in 2012, Rob is Chair of the Queensland Parliamentary Committee for Health, Environment, Innovation Science & Tourism. He is the State Member for Southport. Rob is a born & bred Gold Coaster. As a former Broadcaster & City Councillor he has played key roles in securing national NRL & AFL teams for Gold Coast and the Commonwealth Games. He was the founding Chair of The Gold Cast Community Fund, a foundation Director of The Gold Coast NRL Titans and foundation Chair of Common Ground Gold Coast. He’s just completed his 20th year as Director and past Chair of Bravehearts Foundation. And this will be his 11th year as an ambassador and fundraiser for Vinnies CEO Sleepout. As a former Committee Member of the Sydney 2000 Olympics Queensland Team Fund, he’s excited about the 2032 Games coming to SE Queensland.

Gobind Kalsi (盖丽莎）

Consultant Trainer, iteachChinese Educator, Virtual Business College, TAFE Queensland Robina
Lisa is a passionate educator with decades of experience in China Literacy. A graduate in Asian Studies at the Australian National University, Lisa has studied and worked in China for many years. Career highlights include setting up the Tsinghua-Bond University MBA Exchange Program and being on the founding team for the Caulfield Grammar School experiential learning program for Year 9 students in Nanjing. Recently, Lisa spent two years at Monash University researching the potential for virtual environments to enhance the ability of Australians to practise intercultural communication in Mandarin Chinese. Currently, Lisa trains adults in Leadership and Management at the Virtual Business College (VBC), TAFE Queensland Robina Campus.
