Tuesday 13 July 2021 – ACBC was proud to host the Australia-China Agribusiness Industry Summit with partners at the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations at the Langham Melbourne and live-streamed around the world.
A uniquely adaptable hybrid event, ACBC was delighted to invite over 200 in-person and online guests to hear from leaders in agriculture, horticulture, F&B, logistics, innovation, marketing, investment as well as leading policy analysts and those on-the-ground in China.
Over four distinct sessions including plenary, speakers provided critical industry insights and practical advice contributing to a re-aligning of Australia-China business interests and an outlook for an optimal, mutually beneficial pathway forward.
Topics highlighted that China’s demand for healthy, high-quality agricultural products shows no signs of abating. Speakers addressed the importance of remaining engaged and well informed on matters relating to trade with China and maintaining established business connections which in many cases have taken decades to form. Cross-border B2B relationships continue to drive productive engagement with China.
We were honoured to host eminent business community leaders and decision-makers who are committed to the bilateral business relationship speak at this Summit and we thank them for sharing their wisdom, optimism and words of advice with our guests.
We acknowledge the support of the Federal Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, The Hon Dan Tehan MP, and National Foundation for Australia-China Relations CEO, Michaela Browning for opening proceedings.
This event was proudly supported by the National Foundation for Australia China Relations, Global Victoria, The Langham and One Global Logistics.
