On 14 April, ACBC Victoria was pleased to host 60 of our members for the Strategic China Briefing by the Victorian Government’s Commissioner to Greater China, Brett Stevens.
Brett shared with our members exclusive insights areas such as the Chinese economy, trends and opportunities, the latest report Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB), the wine and spirits industry, and international education. Some highlights from the discussion included the benefits of increased flight services to China from Melbourne Airport and the upcoming celebrations for 45th anniversary of our sister city relationship with Tianjin.
Brett is a great advocate for our state and strongly encouraged Victorian businesses to utilise ACBC and the resources provided by the Vic Govt, including the Victorian Investment and Trade (VGTI) offices in China, to help better navigate the ever changing landscape of the Chinese marketplace.
ACBC Victoria extends a warm thanks to Brett for his valuable insights. We look forward to hearing from him again for an end of year update.
