On Monday 4 April, 50 guests attended our luncheon seminar hosted at Pitcher Partners on the SIV & PIV Programs and Investment.
The seminar began with a brief overview of Santa Fe Australia's operation by CEO Mr Andrew Simpson. Santa Fe operates in 126 offices in 56 countries worldwide and is dedicated to making it easy for companies, organisations and people to mobilise globally.
Following the introduction was a presentation from Mr Ivan Chait, General Manager, Santa Fe Immigration Services. Ivan is a leading Registered Australian Immigration Consultant with over 30 years' industry experience. He reviewed the different aspects of several business and investment visa options, such as the hurdle amount of investment, residency requirements, and evidence of English language skills. Ivan also pointed out the attraction and problem areas of SIV, particularly the investor’s sources of funds.
Our third speaker Mr Michael Sonego, Partner, Corporate Finance at Pitcher Partners, emphasised the significance of the Australian middle market and reported on the M&A activities of the past two years by sector. The proceedings concluded after an informative Q&A session.
We kindly thank ACBC Victoria Gold Sponsors, Pitcher Partners, for generously hosting the event. We also extend our thanks also to the speakers for their expertise and time and for the very positive feedback from attendees.
