1.Tell us about your business and how you've leveraged your Australia-China connections to build your success in China?
Blossoms BH Wholesale Pty Ltd is a leading distributor for skincare and health supplements in Australia. We have been focusing in promoting Australian products to Chinese customers and Chinese market for more than 15 years.
 
2.What does a typical day look like for you and what are you currently working on? 
We are helping more than 60 Australian and New Zealand brands to develop the Chinese market (including the local Chinese community in Australia) through our own retail and distribution network. Cross-Border E-Commerce is creating another shortcut for Australian products to develop the Chinese market. We are actively helping the Australian brands grow brands awareness through various sales and marketing opportunities.
 
3. What would you say are the five key elements for starting and running a successful business in/with China? 
I would say understand the language and culture, choose business partner wisely, invest on marketing, enforce reasonable pricing, and focus on R&D.
 
4. How do you go about marketing your business in Australia/China and what has contributed to this success? 
We and also our business partners have been putting a lot of investment on digital marketing to increase the exposure of our products and service. Also, attending the relevant trade shows or business matching will help significantly in developing your channels in China.
 
5.You have been very successful to date, but there have no doubt been challenges - what's been your biggest challenge that you have overcome in your business journey with China?
The change in regulations or policies in China can bring huge uncertainty and even risks for Australian business, such as the changes in cross-border e-commerce regulations in the previous few years. Australian business should have backup plans in advance to encounter these changes.
 
6.What's your motto/mantra? 
Our motto is very simple, grow with us. We have been working closely with a lot of Australian brands in all these years and we are very delight to grow the business with them together.
