Melbourne: Need Funding to Grow Your Business? Learn how to get the most out of Australia’s Extensive Grant Offerings

04 August 2016

International Chamber House, Level 5, 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne 3000

Governments at all levels provide grants, loans and other assistance programs to promote business and encourage growth in the economy. The proliferation of these offers can make it difficult for companies to identify the most suitable form of support for them.

This event brings together representatives from Federal, State and Local Governments who have specialised knowledge of the different programs and will demonstrate how to get the most out of this support system. There will also be case studies, including specifically trade and investment outcomes, presented from both providers and recipients.

Speakers include:

  • John Macdonald, Assistant State Manager – Department of Industry, Innovation and Science
  • Hugh Moor, Executive Director – Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources
  • Michael Anderson, Team Leader Capital City Business – City of Melbourne
  • Kheang Khauv, Managing Director – Laser Resources Management
  • Racquel Schroff, CEO – Global Education Solutions

This event is aimed at companies and organisations operating in Australia and/or working in international trade and investment - start ups, mature operations seeking sustainability and organisations wishing to grow significantly. Networking will follow at the conclusion of the presentations.
