The Australia China Business Council and our event partner, Deloitte, are pleased to hold a boardroom luncheon with Mr Paul Fletcher MP, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Communications, to be held on 23 September 2015.
Paul Fletcher has served as Member for Bradfield since December 2009 and as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Communications since September 2013.
Before entering Parliament, Paul was Director, Corporate and Regulatory Affairs, at Optus; established a consulting firm serving the communications sector; and in 2009 his book about broadband, Wired Brown Land, was published by UNSW Press.
He has dual first class honours degrees in law and economics from The University of Sydney and an MBA from Columbia University in New York where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
Mr Fletcher recently spent a week in China as a speaker at World Mobile Congress in Shanghai and travelled to Shenzhen to meet Australian students participating in Huawei’s ‘Seeds for the Future’ program. Mr Fletcher will share his insights on China’s communications sector and hold an open discussion under the Chatham House Rule.
