China in Australia: New Investment Opportunities and Challenges
In recent years, Chinese companies have shown a strong appetite for investing in Australia, and that appetite continues to grow. In light of the recently signed China-Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA), strengthening of the foreign investment framework, and changes to the Significant and Premium Investor Visas, new opportunities and challenges are set to emerge.
This event will feature panelists from a variety of backgrounds to share their industry experience and insight on what these changes will mean for Chinese foreign investment. The presentations will draw upon case studies and provide tips on best practice for successful foreign investment in Australia. It will be followed by an audience Q&A and networking.
This event is hosted by Australia China Young Professionals Initiative (ACYPI), a premier young professionals organisation aimed to strengthen the relationship between China and Australia. The event is proudly partnered with Australia China Business Council (ACBC) and Baker & McKenzie. It is an excellent opportunity for business representatives, prospective investors, professional service providers and young professionals in the foreign investment space to share perspectives on Chinese investment in Australia.
