At this event Harold will be presenting his talk “My China Long March: 30 years of culture, commerce and adventure,” where he will recount his experiences across 30 years of work in China. In addition to this Harold will  show a selection of images from his recent book China: the New Long March – a photographic journey retracing the legendary 8000 km long march across China's heartland.

This event will not only offer a special and fascinating presentation but will be a brilliant opportunity to broaden your business network, share ideas and exchange business experiences.

The Weldon Global operation has a deep and complex network inside China that spans three decades across commercial, cultural and political spectrums. From 2008-2012 Weldon Global founder- Harold Weldon, became the first ever foreign Advisor to China’s peak economic body: The National Development and Reform Commission of China (NDRC), the key approval body for China’s in and outbound investment including mergers and acquisitions. The role involved actively providing support and assistance for business development and investment cooperation between China, Australia and the rest of the world especially in the mining and resource sector, and the promotion of exchanges in economy, culture, training and technology via the combined structure and resources of both the NDRC and Weldon Global’s alliances.
