Dr Simon is one of a select group of global management experts with dual knowledge of business strategy & technology management and Asian business systems. He was last year formally recognized for his expertise by Premier Wen Jiabao when presented with China’s highest recognition award as a Foreign Expert.
Dr Simon is Provost and Vice-President for Academic Affairs at the Levin Graduate Institute of International Relations and Commerce at the State University of New York, and is Executive Director of the Centre for the Study of Science, Technology and Innovation in China at Levin. He has consulted directly for many of the world’s leading multinational firms, has served as President of the Monitor Group (China) and as General Manager of Anderson Consulting in China.
Dr Simon’s address will provide a guide to the shifting foreign investment climate in China, and the managerial and leadership challenges associated with the transfer of technology to China.
