Patrick Stringer is responsible for the Victorian Government’s activities across China, including Hong Kong. Prior to his appointment as Commissioner in 2009, Mr. Stringer served as a senior diplomat for the Australian Government in Asia and has more than 25 years’ experience in general management and marketing with some of the world's leading corporations, including Qantas, Volvo and BAE Systems. He has also served on the boards of companies in Australia, Singapore and Vietnam, and has an extensive working knowledge and understanding of Asian business practices.
