ACBC QLD is pleased to announce our high profile keynote speaker for the 2020 China New Year Dinner.
Christine Holgate joined Australia Post as Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director on 30 October 2017, after nearly 9 years as the Chief Executive Officer of Blackmores Ltd. 
Christine has more than 30 years of diverse international leadership experience in highly regulated industries, including healthcare, media, telecommunications and finance.   
She has more than 20 years of public board experience as either a non-executive director or CEO and has held senior management positions in Asia, the Americas and Australia.
Christine is the inaugural Chair of the Board of the Australia-ASEAN Council (which supports the development of trade and cultural relations between Australia and the 10 member countries of the ASEAN region). She also serves on the board of the Collingwood Football Club. Christine’s past appointments include time as a non-executive director of Ten Network Holdings Limited.

The Chinese New Year Dinner is the annual flagship event for the Australia China Business Council Queensland branch and will be held on 4 February 2020 at Ballroom Le Grand, Sofitel Brisbane Central. Traditionally the dinner attracts 400 leading executives from Queensland’s Chinese and Australian government and business communities, with speeches and appearances from key state and local politicians.

This year’s theme will be the ‘Year of the Rat’. The event includes a sit-down chinese inspired banquet dinner, keynote address by a high profile speaker and entertainment to celebrate the Chinese lunar new year. We hope you can join us for a memorable evening with members and friends from the ACBC QLD community.
