ACBC QLD and China Chamber of Commerce in Australia Brisbane Branch (CCCA) cordially invite you to the second China International Import Expo (CIIE) Business Forum.

CIIE is the world’s first national-level Import Exhibition and a significant innovation in the history of international trade. Following the highly successful inaugural event last year, the Chinese Government will again host the Expo on 5 - 10 November at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center. The Expo will be attended by Central Government trade delegations with purchase demand as well as buyers from other countries.

This Forum will showcase a range of China-Australia investment and trade opportunities at CIIE, introduce the process of attending the Expo and include presentations by exhibitors that attended last year. This forum is a must attend event if your business wants to access the largest consumer market in the world, and be amongst USD 40 trillion of goods and services China will import over the next 15 years.

PRESENTERS
DR XU JIE, CONSUL GENERAL OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA BRISBANE 

Consul-General Xu Jie, Doctor of Laws, has served in the Department of Treaty and Law, Department of Personnel, Department of North American and Oceanian Affairs, and Office of the Commissioner in the Macao Special Administrative Region, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), in positions including Deputy Director, Director, Counsellor and member of department leaders. He also worked as the Deputy Secretary-General at Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO). Dr Xu Jie is the 5th Consul-General of the People's Republic of China in Brisbane.


THE HON. STEVE BREDHAUER, CHAIR OF THE BOARD OF TRADE AND INVESTMENT QUEENSLAND

The Hon. Steve Bredhauer was appointed Chair of the Board of Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) in December 2015. He is also the Deputy Chair of the International Education and Training Ministerial Advisory Group.
Prior to his appointment as Chair Mr Bredhauer previously acted as TIQ Special Trade Representative to China, Vietnam and Mongolia from 2008-2012. In both these capacities Mr Bredhauer has led 15 Trade Missions to China, Vietnam and Mongolia and has participated in others to Indonesia and Korea with over 25 missions to Asian markets in total.
From 1989-2004 Mr Bredhauer was an MP in the Queensland Parliament and Minister for Transport and Main Roads from 1998-2004. Mr Bredhauer has run a successful consulting business from 2004 to the present in addition to his other roles.


MR LAN YUQIANG, CHIEF OF THE ECONOMIC AND COMMERCIAL OFFICE OF CHINESE CONSULATE GENERAL IN BRISBANE
Mr Lan Yuqiang, Chief of the Economic and Commercial Office of Chinese Consulate General in Brisbane, Master of Business Administration from Tsinghua University, has served in Department of Policy Research Office in State Economic and Trade Commission, Bureau of  Industrial Injury Investigation in Ministry of Commerce,  Chinese Embassy in Sweden, Chinese Consulate-General in Gothenburg Sweden, with 25 years’ experience in government.
