'Sizing and seizing new opportunities in China'

Glenn Keys AO is the Co-Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Canberra-based Aspen Medical, a multi award-winning, global provider of guaranteed and innovative healthcare solutions across a diverse range of clients in the Public Healthcare, Defence, Government, Oil & Gas, Mining and Humanitarian sectors.  As Aspen Medical enacts on their strategy for global expansion, they have spent some significant time and focus on understanding and exploring the healthcare market in China. While they still have much to learn about China and the market, they see the immense potential over the past few years in China.  They have invested in numerous trips across China, met with various partners and engaged in strategic discussions about how best they can support and collaborate with Chinese operators to meet the growing demand for quality healthcare services whilst being sympathetic to local Chinese culture, custom and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

'The state of the Chinese economy'

Dr Jane Golley is one of Australia's leading China analysts and economists focused on a range of Chinese transition and development issues.  She is currently Acting Director of the Australian Centre on China in the World, ANU. Her career has taken her from the Asia Section of the Australian Commonwealth Treasury to the World Bank in Washington DC, and the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research in Helsinki.
