ACBC QLD cordially invites you to an exclusive ACBC member only business briefing with two senior Austrade representatives from China. Daniel Boyer and Liu Bing will present the 2018-2019 Austrade business plan for China and address questions from our members who actively engage or are planning to engage with China.

This special event is a rare opportunity to present your current business issues, challenges and opportunities in China to Austrade, and for Austrade to engage ACBC members and how they can add value to your business in China.
 

PRESENTERS
Daniel Boyer, Senior Trade Commissioner Designate, Beijing & General Manager, Greater China 
Daniel Boyer joined Austrade in 2014. Before taking up his present role of General Manager, Government and Partnerships in February 2018, he led the organisational restructure of the agency as the General Manager of the ‘Positioning for our Future’ benchmarking and strengthening initiatives.
Before moving to Austrade, Daniel worked in a number of Australian government agencies, most recently in the Department of Immigration and Border Protection. His positions in the department included Assistant Secretary, Humanitarian Branch (responsible for Australia’s Offshore Humanitarian Visa Program), and Regional Director, East Asia (responsible for visa operations across North Asia and the Mekong region), based in Beijing. Daniel’s university qualification is Bachelor of Economics University in Tasmania.


Liu Bing, Senior Trade Commissioner Designate, Shanghai
Liu Bing returned to Australia in 2016, from her previous role as Acting Senior Trade Commissioner / Deputy Consul General Shanghai. Bing is currently Austrade’s Asia Lead based in Austrade’s Sydney office.
While in Shanghai, Bing managed the Austrade East China network of offices by providing business opportunities and services for Australian entities in trade, education and inward investment. Bing was also the team leader of Austrade’s China financial services team, assisting Australian financial services business operations in China and enhancing Australian brand awareness and promoting Australian industry capabilities in China.
Prior to Shanghai, Bing had worked in similar roles at the Australian Consulate in Guangzhou and the Australian Embassy in Beijing from 2004-2012. Bing holds a bachelor degree of Medicine from China and a bachelor degree of Nursing from Australia.
