About Tim Lyons

Tim Lyons is currently Chair of the Education Committee for AustCham Shanghai.  He has been in China for 15 years and is currently CEO of Manage Educational (A Division of ManageChina) - a China based outsourcing consultancy specialising in Education with offices in Shanghai and Hangzhou.

While having worked in commercial environments throughout Asia - China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan - he has also managed to maintain visiting adjunct positions in business schools in all of those locations for more than 20 years. Indeed he started his 'academic life' as a full time lecturer at Monash University's Faculty of Business and Economics nearly 25 years ago. He has a passion for quality and relevant education and is particularly interested in the growing interest globally of vocational education.
