Speaker Bio

Dr Yongqiang Li

Senior Lecturer, Research Fellow and PhD Supervisor in the College of Law & Justice, Victoria University

Dr Yongqiang Li is a Senior Lecturer, Research Fellow and PhD Supervisor in the College of Law & Justice, Victoria University. Yongqiang has extensive consulting experience on corporate and university governance and is a practising lawyer in Australia. Currently he is the Chairman of the International Committee for Law Programs and the Director for CUFE-VU Centre on Research for Business and Economics. Yongqiang is also a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia, as well as a National Accredited Mediator, Registered Migration Agent (MARN: 1798294) and Accredited Education Agent Counsellor (QEAC). He is a Technical Expert on the ATO Small Business Technical Working Party and is an Industry Expert on the IPAA (Vic) Asian Capacity Committee.

The research of Yongqiang research has been recognised by various awards and scholarships. He is the editor-in-chief of Law and Governance Journal and is frequently on the editorial board, and a reviewer for journals. He is also co-president of the 2017 International Scientific Conference of Economic and Social Development.
