The Australia China Business Council is pleased to have collaborated with L.E.K Consulting to produce “The China Tourism Economy: Reaching Australia’s Potential’ report. This report investigates the broader economic linkages of Chinese tourists to Australia and their ongoing relationship with Australia. The key trends within China’s continuing growth as a source market, and look at the future imperatives required for Australia to reach higher economic potential within Chinese households.

The report goes beyond the principal Chinese tourism opportunities and challenges in Australia to explore what lies ahead in the non-tourism markets such as education, migration and the export of Australian products into China. For ACBC members and attendees the report is a very important and contextual update.
