Melbourne: Victoria's International Health Strategy and China

ACBC Victoria is pleased to invite you to a roundtable with Ms Melissa Arduca, Assistant Director, Innovation, Industry and International Health, and Mr Jason Sun, Manager of Strategic International Partnerships, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), State Government of Victoria. 

Organised by ACBC Victoria's Health & Medical Research Working Group, the roundtable will provide ACBC members with the opportunity to engage directly with the DHHS regarding implementation of the International Health Strategy and how this strategically links with the Victorian Government's China priorities.

Melissa Arduca will present on:

  • The Victorian Government's International Health Strategy

Jason Sun will present on:

  • Current initiatives and opportunities in China - including reflections from his recent three month assignment based in the Victorian Government offices throughout China

About our speakers:

Melissa Arduca, Assistant Director for International Health, DHHS
Melissa Arduca was recently appointed Assistant Director, Innovation, Industry and International Health at Victorian Department of Health and Human Services, and is responsible for international healthcare engagement and collaboration across the Victorian Government with key Asia-Pacific regional partners. Melissa is an experienced public servant, with more than 16 years working in government, specialising in economic policy, health policy, hospital funding models, data analytics, planning, project leadership and contract management.

Jason Sun, Manager of Strategic International Partnerships, DHHS 
Jason Sun is a global minded senior healthcare management professional with a clinical background and significant experience in a diverse range of healthcare environments which include: international health engagement, government, health insurance, pharmaceutical company, community pharmacies, public and private hospitals.
