Sustainable Risk Rationalisation Conference 2010 –
An International Learning Experience in Brownfields Rehabilitation
The SRR 2010 Conference has developed over the past 3 years into one of the most important and unique Australian based conferences due to its hands-on and practical approach to risk rationalisation within the Brownfield’s environmental arena.
What is Brownfield Redevelopment?
Brownfield sites are abandoned or underused industrial and commercial facilities available for re-use. Expansion or redevelopment of such a facility may be complicated by real or perceived environmental contamination.
The approach to a Brownfield’s site involves a range of disciplines and activities so as to minimize the risk in the development of the site.
Why is the SRR Conference 2010 so important for ACBC members?
This conference is not just about polluted sites.
SRR 2010 brings Chinese, Australian and American industry leaders and practitioners together to focus on current topics and to discuss the various learning’s experienced across a number of countries and environments.
