Description
Australia China Business Council (SA) together with Department of Maufacturing, Innovation, Trade, Resources and Energy presents:
Mr Grant Dooley, Australia's Consul-General in Guangzhou, China
Mr Dooley was most recently Director of the China Economic and Trade
Section of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, a position he held
from March 2008.
Prior to this, he was Director of the Indonesia Political and Strategic
Section. Mr Dooley has extensive overseas experience having previously
served in Jakarta as Counsellor (Economic) and in Shanghai as Consul.
Mr Dooley was a member of the Royal Australian Navy (1982-98) prior
to joining DFAT in 1998.
Mr Dooley speaks Mandarin, holds a Bachelor of Asian Studies (Chinese)
and a Master of International Affairs, both from the Australian National
University.
Cost:
Free of charge – but places are limited and priority is given to ACBC
Members. A light lunch will be provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements
