Overview
ACBC South Australia has a strong and innovative focus on building business and trade relationships between South Australia and China. ACBC South Australia’s Executive Committee is structured to align our events and activities around the State’s Strategic Plan with sub-committees representing the following areas of industry focus:
- Energy & Resources
- Education
- Trade and Investment
- Food and Wine
We have a program of events and activities planned for 2012 that seeks to achieve the following objectives:
- To provide opportunities for South Australian business people to network on China business activities with their peers;
- To provide opportunities for our South Australian business people to meet with senior Australian and Chinese business people, politicians and officials;
- To bring the interests and concerns of our members to the attention of the Australian and Chinese Governments and other policy makers and administrators in Australia and China;
- To analyse and make informed public comment on important and relevant policy issues and to encourage policy makers in Australia, and where possible in China, to develop and implement policies that are both in the interests of our members, the broader interest of South Australia and in the national interest;
- To promote information and briefings for South Australian business on relevant business developments and practices in China; and
- To support the promotion of South Australia’s commercial interests in China.
ACBC South Australia encourage companies across a broad range of industry sectors to join the ACBC in South Australia to become part of a strong collective voice focusing on our state's economic engagement with China.
