Boardroom lunch briefing: Australia and China - Perspectives on Best Practice HR

ACBC WA held one of our regular Boardroom lunch briefings on 12 July.
The topic was "Australia and China - Perspectives on Best Practice HR". With increasing investments by Chinese companies into Australia and Chinese companies leading resources projects, there is now a great imperative to examine how Australia and China could cooperate on human resource practices.
The lunch speaker was Mr Andrew Banks, the founder of Morgan and Banks and Talent2. Andrew has had extensive experience dealing with human resource issues and challenges both in Australia and Asia. The lunch participants found the presentattion and the discussions that followed to be very useful, especially the Chinese perspective on HR.
